From the Campaign Chairman

The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum was conceived to preserve and interpret naval aviation research, development, testing and evaluation as it has evolved since 1943 at the Naval Air Station at Patuxent River, Maryland. The new Museum will continue to do so but on a scale that reaches out to Southern Maryland, the State of Maryland and the world, and all of the generations to come in the new millennium.

RADM L.F. Eggert, USN (Ret)

From the Campaign Co-Chairman

The new Patuxent River Naval Air Museum will be a beacon of light for the visitor to St. Mary's County and Southern Maryland. The new Museum will also be a beacon for economic development of the region. It will act as a learning and information center for future aviation scientists and engineers.

Robert F. Gabrelchick
