HOW TO REACH THE PATUXENT RIVER NAVAL AIR MUSEUM
From within Lexington Park, Maryland area
Lexington Park is the home of the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum, the Naval Air Systems Command and the Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division.
The first available gate from route 235 south is Gate #1.
The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum is on the left as you approach Gate #1 and the Pegg Road intersection from the North. The museum is a large siding-clad structure with a nearby aircraft viewing area. It is offset from the main road. At this time there is no direct left turn access to the museum from Route 235 headed south.
