TEST AND EVALUATION HALL

The Test & Evaluation Hall opened in 2016 following an extensive campaign of design, fundraising, and construction. It is one of the most iconic and recognizable structures in both St. Mary’s County and Southern Maryland.

The Hall takes visitors through the history of Naval Aviation—from its early days and the Curtiss A-1 Triad to the present and beyond, including the Lockheed Martin X-35C Joint Strike Fighter concept demonstration aircraft. It also highlights the history of USN Test Pilot School, Naval Aviation in space, and the contributions of women in aviation.
